This Hampstead penthouse apartment only had a decked terrace without any other feature, offering only a gorgeous view. The owners wanted to spruce the place up, possibly adding some greenery and seating areas. The decking was partly cut to create gravel borders. Round benches were installed, with balau hardwood boards precisely cut to accommodate a half moon shape. The bench serves in addition as a planter for small olive trees and under-planting. Black poli-terazzo pots are planted with architectural planting and positioned carefully to create a sculptural impact.
